Job Summary

The Production Trainer ensures all Production & Assembly (P&A) Operators are performing assigned tasks according to safety, quality, and efficiency standards.

Major Responsibilities

  • Trains multiple new hired employees at a time.
  • Familiarizes new hires with where to find everything in the facility, including but not limited to breakrooms, rest rooms, locker room, wellness room, human resources.
  • Continuously trains and motivates P&A Operators.
  • Stresses to new hires the important of work attendance and the vital role they fill on the line.
  • Remains with new hires until they are fully capable and proficient.
  • Delivers feedback to new employees, as well as the Production Supervisor.
  • Identifies gaps in the employee’s skill level to determine the need for additional training and/or performance management.
  • Ensures employees understands and follows Quality Control protocols.
  • Ensures employees comply with applicable safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Adheres to all Safety guidelines including but not limited to wearing of proper PPE.
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

Skills Required

  • High school Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.
  • Three (3) to five (5) year of related experience, or 2 years’ experience plus specialized training and/or certification.
  • Basic Microsoft Office knowledge.
  • Excellent interpersonal skill, and ability to train, coach, and mentor employees.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to be flexible and rotate between various positions and sometimes shifts in the operation based on business needs.
  • Ability to analyze processes and data to determine training needs and develop materials.

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Little Rock, AR 72206: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Required)

  • Are you available to work a 12-hour night shift f 6:30pm to 7am working 2 shifts on 2 shifts off and then 3 shifts on 3 shifts off where your off every other weekend?
