Job Description :

D A LABS is currently looking for a talented engineer to work on our FBI Enterprise Security Operations Center (ESOC) program. The ESOC is a unit within the security division of the FBI, responsible for FBI cyber defense. A candidate would be responsible for day to day maintenance of a variety of networking systems. Beyond the day to day duties as an engineer, a candidate will be exposed to some of the premier security tools in use to protect the FBI information technology and many oportunities are available to cross train.

Requirements : Should possess in depth technical knowledge and hands-on experience with most of the following. (switches, routers, encryption, firewalls, Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems, Software Defined Networking, and the network systetms side of Active Directory Domain Services integration for authenticaton and authorization with Cisco specific experience as a major advantage but not required).

There is a requirement of Top Secret clearance and a counter intelligence polygraph after hire. Core hours for this position are 9:00 – 16:00 each day.

Our firm is a small business located in Arlington Virginia with contracts under the Department of Defense and Department of Justice.

Interview candidates should be able to readily articulate over a phone call, their knowledge of shell access to Cisco IOS as well as shell or web access to the PIX/ASA/Firepower line. In doing so, they should be able to explain prior examples of hurdles and the use of these mechanisms to resolve specific issues. In an effort to save time, to put it bluntly, you will need to have spent enough time on the command line or the web interface to articulate step by step what you type or click for certain functions. This isn’t a syntax test but you can’t have been the person who called the person to implement changes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 – $125,000.00 per year
