The IT Administrator / Programmer role provides 2nd level end-user support and troubleshooting network infrastructure. This person is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the local area network hardware, as well as for Microsoft O365, e-mail, Active Directory, Network attached Storage and Firewall Administration. Programing is a must! Efficient at Database Management, SQL, Microsoft Access, PowerShell, XML, Visual Basic, Visual Studio, Python, C/C++.

Responsibilities will include:

• Work with the IT Manager creating and documenting security policies, procedures, and implementation of new technologies.
• Coordinate and implement hardware / software upgrade initiatives.
• Support end users with any IT technical problems, preventing escalation.
• Establish network specifications, analyzing workflow, access, information, and security requirements.
• Firewall Administration including interface configuration and routing protocols.
• Evaluate network performance issues, availability, utilization, throughput, and latency.
• Develop and maintain MSSQL, MYSQL, and MariaDB databases.
• Develop custom software capabilities to meet the needs of managers and end-users
• Program and assemble various projects utilizing micro-controllers.

QUALIFICATION

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to design and develop complex applications, which may interact with other systems, applications, or modules.
• Ability to evaluate technology problems requirements to translate to application specifications and documentation for manageable business solutions.
• Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal communications.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and expand skills.
• Proficient use of computers and resolving technical issues.
• Previous experience programming in MSSQL, Microsoft Access, PowerShell, XML, Visual Basic (VB.NET). ASP.Net, Visual Studio, Python, C/C++.
• Experience with SBC systems such as Raspberry Pi and micro-controllers (Arduino, ESP8266/32)
• Experience with Windows Server, Office 365 Administrator, Active Directory, Group Policy, and Hyper-V.
• Scripting for Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Knowledge of the Ubiquiti networking CLI and Ubiquiti hardware.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues.
• Good Understanding and troubleshooting skills of TCP/IP, Switching &Routing protocols, MPLS, Load balancing
• Knowledge and experience in STP, VTP, HSRP, VLAN, QoS and other switching technologies

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Experience with 3D design software such as AutoCAD.
• 3D printing experience.
• Custom PCB design experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
