An incredible opportunity for an experienced Director of Marketing: based in-office in east Wichita, Kansas
The growing, national, award-winning Archer boutique hotel collection and its parent company, LodgeWorks Partners, L.P., is seeking an experienced, multi-tasking Director of Marketing who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative culture.
Job overview
The role will develop and execute marketing strategies for the Archer Hotelcollection, individual Archer hotel locations (8 hotels) and the AKBhotel bar collection and locations (7 outlets). The Director is responsible for driving hotel revenue including room reservations, meetings and events, food and beverage and other ancillary outlets (with shared direct oversight of the marketing coordinator). The Director — Marketing is responsible for collaborating with hotel field leaders and other corporate teams who contribute to the effort. Reports to the SVP — Brand and Marketing.
The Director — Marketing will also provide ancillary marketing support to LodgeWorks’ other great brand portfolio — including Hyatt House, Hyatt Place, Aloft, Hilton Garden Inn and Hampton Inn hotels (10 hotels).
Who you are
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in marketing or communications.
· Five years’ experience in hotel marketing or advertising/marketing agency with revenue and multi-unit responsibility.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills.
· Self-driven and passionate about driving revenue and supporting the field team and other departments.
· Ability to proactively coordinate multiple, ongoing tasks with changing priorities and attention to detail.
· Ability to travel (up to 30%).
Your day-to-day
- Meet with internal departments (Sales, Revenue, F&B, Interactive and Social Media) and field leads (GM, DOS, Meetings + Events, F&B) to identify revenue needs by location and outlet, understand objectives, timelines, and budgets.
- Develop and document marketing strategies and plans by hotel location and outlet in collaboration with internal departments, field leads and external resources to achieve established revenue goals.
- Lead email marketing strategy — in collaboration with Interactive to align with SMS initiatives and Archer strategy calendar — utilizing Cendyn CRM to increase direct bookings and drive incremental revenue.
- Participate in Sales, Revenue, F&B, Interactive and Social Media strategy meetings.
- Work with department teams including Brand, Brand and Marketing Traffic, Interactive and Social Media to share project goals and objectives, set budgets and schedules, and assist with final output.
- Submit marketing projects in Wrike and collaborate through completion of those projects.
- Contribute to and help maintain master calendar content.
- Oversee, guide, evaluate and report out on responsible marketing revenue results.
- Conduct performance reviews according to LodgeWorks’ standards.
- Assist with annual hotel budgets.
- Work a schedule of at least 40 hours per week, which may occasionally include weekends.
- Work in a fast-paced environment.
- Travel as needed to support job functions (up to 30%).

Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
