The business development associate is responsible for developing and maintaining referral business for Cedar Community’s home health and hospice services, RCAC-licensed services (independent living/assisted living/memory care), and at-home and short-term rehabilitation for both existing and new accounts. This position will be responsible for building relationships with key decision makers and community clinical partners; developing sales strategies and goals; conducting sales calls in-person and virtually; evaluating results and effectiveness of sales activity; and offering sales support for RCAC-licensed service lines. Proven track record of excellent communication and interpersonal skills—as well as a passion for working with seniors—are required for success in this role.

Typically eight hour shifts (8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.), Monday through Friday. This position may require some evening, weekend, and holiday hours.

Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, communications, or similar preferred.

Minimum of five years documented sales experience; at least two years sales experience within the senior industry. Knowledge of senior living and CCRC model a definite plus.

Highly proficient with computers and software programs to include MS Office Suite and customer relationship management (CRM) systems required.

Valid state driver’s license and reliable automobile, current automobile insurance, and be willing to operate personal car necessitated by nature of job.
