Automotive Service Technicians All- Levels (Novembe 2022)

for our Brand New Service Department

Chevy Freehold Location

Lester Glenn Auto Group one of the largest private dealership groups in the New Jersey is looking for motivated, people friendly, & goal oriented Automotive Service Technicians (All Levels) for our BRAND NEW Chevy of Freehold Service Department location. The Technicians will be working in anew Service Department, with brand new equipment and special Service Tools as they will be responsible for the actual service and/or repair of vehicles assigned to them by service management or their designated representatives. Our Chevy Freehold Service Department is a Union Shop.

Responsibilities:

Include but are not limited to:

• Perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards
• Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc. to specification
• Perform Routine inspections , system diagnostics, full automotive troubleshooting and testing
• Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers
• Inspect and test new vehicles and recording findings so that necessary repairs can be made and provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs

Requirements:

Include but are not limited to:

• Previous experience as an automotive technician (ASE certification preferred)
• Minimum 1 years experience pref
• GM experience, preferred
• Solid mechanical skills
• Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
• Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc.)
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record
