Job Description :

Position Summary

This position is responsible for developing and preparing financial reports, maintaining and managing the various business systems related to accounting functions, and developing and analyzing data. The position serves as lead accountant for projects, participates in audits and exams, plays a major role in producing the annual budget, and assists the manager in overseeing the daily operations of the department and in providing guidance for other Finance Professionals. Duties and functions must be completed accurately according to deadlines and in accordance with policies, procedures, and regulations.

Qualifications/Experience

• At least four years of related experience in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Knowledge of GAAP.
• Familiarity with the Federal Reserve Bank System and financial institution operations, products, and services.
• Familiarity with accounting functions and systems, financial reporting, and data processing systems.
• Knowledge of budget practices and forecasting.
• Intermediate to Advanced skill level with Excel, Microsoft Word, MS Outlook, general ledger and accounting systems.
• Able to work with data to develop summarized reports.
• Able to understand, document, and apply assumptions for forecasting.
• Strong analytical abilities; interpersonal skills; and clear and concise oral and written communications.
• Able to produce reports that are presentable to senior management and the Board of Directors.
• Able to comprehend and apply GAAP, policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Able to analyze information, make decisions and develop solutions based on sound judgement.
• Well organized, able to work efficiently and effectively in adherence with multiple deadlines.
• Attention to detail, accurate.
